Access Doc for Artists: a document that outlines your disability access needs. You might make one so that you can give it to galleries, institutions, organisations when you start working with them on a project, such as a gallery you’re doing a show at for example, to let them know what you need them to facilitate to make sure you have equal access to work

Writing with accessibility in mind means that you are trying to ensure that your content can be read and understood by as wide an audience as possible. It focuses primarily on producing accessible material using Microsoft Word – but the principles involved are universal and may easily be applied using other software.

Digital accessibility means giving an excellent digital experience – whether on a website, a shared document or email – to all people with disabilities. This includes people who are blind, partially sighted, have low vision or have difficulty reading text due to neurodiverse conditions such as dyslexia.
